Curriculum

Windsor Happy School uses a mix of High Reach Learning and Creative Curricula. The child sits at the center of it. Every achievement is a success we share with you. The center has curricular aides and well-built rooms that make learning interesting and appealing. Ask us for details about the transition to a Montessori curriculum and about Alpana Nirgudkar, Montessori-Certified teacher and Program Coordinator.

What this looks like in practice

In a licensed center, curriculum covers more than a syllabus. It is the whole day: circle time, art, blocks, books, outdoor play, meals, and rest. You can expect to see children choosing activities, teachers sitting at their level, and work saved or posted on the walls. Windsor Happy School uses a mixture of High Reach Learning and Creative Curricula.

Curriculum matters because it turns play into steady progress. A toddler who could not hold a crayon now makes circles on paper. A preschooler who counted to three now counts the napkins for the table. You notice it at home: a new word, a zipped coat, a question about why the moon follows the car. Each small milestone is an achievement for the child and for you.

Three young children and an adult sit at a yellow table assembling small colorful shapes on cardboard pieces, with two divided trays of craft pieces and a yellow bowl nearby.
