Call 732-668-1107 or email alpanan@hotmail.com. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. Care at Windsor Happy School runs for ages 6 weeks to 13 years. We will go over openings and set a time for you to visit.

Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. You can watch how the room is set up and ask what a typical day looks like for your child's age. com to pick a time.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Tell us how drop-off usually works for your family and who is allowed to pick up. com with your questions, and we will walk you through the rest.
What to have ready
Families usually bring enrollment forms, a health form and current immunization record, emergency contacts and the names of people allowed to pick up. Ask us which forms your child's age group needs, and bring what you have so we can go through it together.
Pack a change of clothes, outdoor gear for the season, and nap items if your child rests here. A comfort object from home helps. Label everything with your child's name so it finds its way back.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up, and add those names to your list. Talk with us about how you want to hear about your child's day. A short note or a word at pickup works for most families.
The first weeks
First days often start short and build up as your child gets used to the room. A familiar object from home can help. A teacher greets your child by name at the door, which is how the day begins.
At pickup, teachers share what your child ate, how they rested, and what they played. Ask anything you want to know. Most children settle into the routine within the first few weeks, and we tell you what we see.

Yes. A tour is how most families decide, and children are welcome to come along.
What should my child bring on the first day?
For a first day, families usually pack a spare set of clothes, diapers or pull-ups if needed, and a comfort item from home. Label everything with your child's name. A water bottle and any food your child will eat also help. Teachers will tell you if anything else is needed for your child's age group.
How do you handle the first weeks?

What does a typical day include?
A day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. We offer care for ages 6 weeks to 13 years. Ask us what the schedule looks like for your child's age.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Teachers share how the day went at pickup, and you can ask questions then. If you want to know more about your child's progress, ask your child's teacher directly. Alpana Nirgudkar, Montessori-Certified teacher and Program Coordinator, is also available to talk with families.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have. Call or visit to ask which schedule is available for your child.
What if there is no place right now?
If a place is not open right now, you can ask to be told when one opens for your child's age. We will contact you when a spot becomes available.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about hours, meals, pickups, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how the day runs for your child's age. Nothing beats seeing the room and meeting the teachers who would be with your child.
