Mornings begin with a calm hello and a place to put belongings. A caregiver helps your child settle into a first activity. For infants, that might be tummy time or a bottle; for older children, a puzzle or a book. Parents can tell us what the night was like so we can match the day to your child.
The middle of the day moves between play and small-group learning. Children eat together, then rest or nap on their own mat or cot. Outdoor time and movement are part of the rhythm. Teachers watch for cues and adjust the pace. If a child needs a quiet break, there is space for that.
Afternoon brings more play, then cleanup and gathering belongings. At pickup, a teacher shares one or two concrete things from the day. You might hear what your child built or a new word they used. For children in before and after school care, we coordinate transportation to Dutch Neck and Maurice Hawk.
During a child's formative years, stimulating activities bring out their innate genius. A conducive learning setting, a carefully-planned curriculum, and a guide and facilitator of learning make this possible. At pickup, a teacher tells you what your child did. If you have questions, use the Parents Corner or contact us online for paper-free, efficient transactions.
The first weeks are planned around your child. We suggest short visits at first, then longer stays as your child gets used to the room and the teachers. You can tell us your child's nap and meal routine so we can follow it. Children meet the same caregivers each day, which helps them settle. Ask us what to bring from home.

You can ask to be told when a place opens for your child's age. We will let you know as soon as we can.
